SKIN CHECK WITH HAND-HELD DERMATOSCOPE &
TOTAL BODY SCAN

Living in Australia, we all understand how dangerous sun exposure can be.

Being a leading country in melanoma and non-melanoma type of skin cancer rate, its very crucial  not to underestimate the importance in regular skin checks. Its advised to have at least annual skin check but if you belong to a high risk category or want to play more safe,

6 months or sometimes 3 months skin check is advised. Some melanomas or non-melanoma skin cancer are very aggressive and can develop within a few weeks. DO NOT for your regular skin check if you have any concerns and noticing any changes in your mole.

Mole mapping allows to identify

early signs of cancer

and save your life.

In our clinic we offer different ways to check your skin, either with hand-held dermatoscope or Total Body Scan (mole mapping) where all your moles will be recorded and any early changes compared at your next follow up.

What the three main types

of Skin cancer look like?

It is important for everyone to know!

Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that originates in melanocytes, the cells responsible for skin pigment. It is the most life-threatening and aggressive form of skin cancer, often leading to significant mortality when it spreads to lymph nodes and organs. Unfortunately, Australia has one of the highest rates of melanoma-related deaths in the world.

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of non-melanoma skin cancer in Australia with a slow growth pace but steadily affecting deeper layers of skin invading the nerve system that require radiotherapy and other advanced treatments if not surgically treated at early stage.
